Candy Cane Christmas Card Dress

I love this Cinderella Dress template! I decided to make a few cards using this template along with the Designer Series Papers. There is very little stamping done on this, just the greeting inside. This would be such a cute Christmas card for a little girl!
~Supplies: Candy Cane Christmas DS paper, Crystal Effects, 1/8" circle punch, Decorative Label Punch, Scallop Punch, Small Heart Punch (for the puffy sleeves), Real Red Marker, Teeny Tiny Wishes Set.

The dots along the scallop are 1/8" circles punched out of the glitter strip!

Live To Ride Santa

We have a few Harley Davidson Biker Friends and so I decided this year to use these retired sets to make a scene. I actually made a couple of these cards to send out! Both retired sets used on this card are called Winter Wonderland (03') and Cruisin' Christmas (04')
~White CS base, Night of Navy CS and Shimmery White CS
~Basic Black Pad, Baja Pad, Night of Navy Pad, So Saffron Pad, Sahara Pad, Markers, Sponge, Smooch Accent ink in Moonlight, Silver and Top Coat, Crystal effects, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 1" Circle Punch, Water color brush, Post-it notes for masking and Stipple brushes!

I stamped the images first. (The House Top Stamp at the bottom has snow flakes on the stamp, however I cut them off when I mounted my stamp) I punched out a Post-it circle and placed it at the top for the moon. I then used stamped cut out masks on post-its over the santa and house top images.Using a stipple brush, I applied Baja ink first then Night of Navy ink. Then used a sponge with Night of Navy ink around the edges of the panel to darken. Then removed the masks and colored the images with markers and watercolor brush and inks from the markers. Sponged the moon with Sahara and added some More Mustard marker to it. I applied the smooch to enhance the snow and bike trail then applied the glitter last.
 RIDE ON SANTA!

Embossed Wish for Peace

This card was so easy and quick! I embossed the image using Crumb Cake Craft Ink and Clear powder on Shimmery White CS. It looks super dark but the craft ink seems to be darker then the classic ink in this color! Who knew?
The sky was sponged with Baja Breeze Classic ink and then the snow on the trees, ground and flakes in the sky were painted on using Moonlight Smooch accent ink. The church was colored with Crumb Cake marker and the windows painted with Gold Smooch.
~ White Square Card base, Candy Cane Christmas DS paper, Baja Breeze CS, White CS, Snowflake Punch, Modern Label Punch, White Taffeta Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamond Glitter.
~Stamps: A wish for Peace, Occasional Quotes (L-3)

Sparkling Winter Scene

For today's card I used water color paper for the center circle and Crumb Cake CS circle layered behind it. The trees were stamped with Artichoke Classic ink and the background and church water colored with Chocolate Chip and Night of Navy Crayons. All the snow was painted and dotted on using the Moonlight Smooch Accent ink and the Church windows painted with Gold Smooch Accent ink. I was trying to use just the stamps from one set-A Wish for Peace on this card but decided on the greeting from All Holidays too!
The background was stamped on Vanilla CS with Baja Breeze and Always Artichoke classic inks and I used Gold Waffle paper as a ruffle and Lace Trim as an accent. Crystal effects and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter were added last to the trees and ground. The Basics Glimmer light Sliver brads really tie into the sparkly trees!

Wintery Night Snowglobe

Who doesn't love snowglobes, I know I do! I stamped just the globe part on Baja Breeze CS using Baja, Old Olive and Soft Suede Markers to ink the stamp with. Then I used watercolor crayons to enhance the image. I darkened the house with the Suede marker and the trees with Old Olive marker. Then I went back and added snow directly with the white crayon. I used the aqua painter to add Night of Navy crayon behind the house and out to the sides blending up. The snow flakes were added again with the white crayon then the globe was cut or punched out. I sponged the edge of it with Baja ink. The base of the globe was stamped on Shimmery Wt. CS inked with Cherry Cobbler ink, then cut out and sponged. The bottom scallop part of the base was painted with Top Coat Smooch.
Stamps: Sweet Snowglobe, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Whisper Wt. CS base, Deck the Halls DS paper, Gold Waffle Paper, Baja and Shimmery CS, Garden Green CS
Inks: Cherry Cobbler Pad, Baja Pad, Crayons and markers above.
Accessories: Big Shot, Little Leaves die, Top Note die, Vanilla Seam Binding, Basic Rhinestones, Regals Brads, Modern label Punch, Sponge, Aqua Painter, Crayons.

Vintage Christmas Cards

My first group of cards to send out this year! I can never make more then about 10 or 12 of one card, it's just too much for me! LOL
For these cards I used the same image with a mixture of DS papers and Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler CS. You can really make your paper go a long way by mixing up the papers and cardstocks instead of doing the same color layers on the whole set of cards!

Stamp Sets: Greeting Card Kids, Bells and Boughs.
Paper: Artichoke CS, Cherry Cobbler CS, Shimmery white CS, Deck the Halls DS paper
Inks: Basic Black Pad, Early Espresso Pad, Cherry, Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Suede, Blush Blossom, Bashful Blue, Old Olive and More Mustard Markers.
Accessories: Oval Stencil, Sponge, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Crystal Effects, Champagne Glass Glitter, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Basic Rhinestones, Cherry Seam Binding, Vanilla Seam Binding, Smooch.

Smooch illuminate Top Coat and Moonlight Accent inks were painted on the little girl's clothes and the tree!

3-D Stamped Ornament

This pattern for a lovely Ornament which suspends something in the center was purchased years ago from Inka Stamps! I copied it on my printer onto Crumb Cake CS and then cut it out and punched out the center squares. It was then stamped and colored then glued together with Gold Cord as a tassel and hanging loop at the top!

I stamped the images from Bells and Boughs using Espresso ink. I then watercolored the images using Old Olive, Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler Markers. I went around the images lightly with a Bashful Blue marker and sprayed the outside liberally with Gold Smooch!
The Bells were colored directly with markers and stamped on Shimmery White CS and then cut out. When I put them back to back to hang in the middle, I noticed too much white from the back sides would show. So I adhered them back to back with the cord in the center and then painted the expossed white parts with Gold Smooch!

Gold Waffle paper strips cover the inside edges to cover the score marks that were printed on the CS.
This is such a darling little ornament and who doesn't love 3-d handmade projects!
