Beaded Images

This card was a swap. I got the idea for this from a Jewelry line of stamps I saw!
Any open image flower stamp will do!

Glitter Tree

Christmas Cards are my favorite! This year I got out all my retired SU sets and made a few cards from each set!

Watery Roses

This card is stamped on watercolor paper which was misted first with water. As I stamped the images, I kept the watercolor paper damp, spraying constantly. Very blurred but adds to the look as the ink runs slightly.

A few Handbags I LOVE!

A few Handbags I LOVE!: "Purses or Handbags are me! (purses are Cherie.com) I love purses and I do own a few brand names, I also look for bargains and love to watch ebay for that super deal because someone doesn't realize what they have! LOL I also have a couple knockoffs that I love especially because I paid way way less then the real thing would cost! Ok so I'm cheap too, no just not rich which I am perfectly fine with and honestly who cares, it just has to look SWEET!"

Punch Art!
I really love Punch art! Punch Art being items created using punched out images pieced together using more then one punch. I signed up for an ATC punch art swap at the last minute for convention this year and was sorry I didn't sign up for more groups because the ATC's were fantastic!
As I sat surrounded by punches designing my little purses, I occasionaly had to clean up a bit so I would have room to stamp! As I was picking up scraps off the floor too big to vaccum up, I came across these scraps and thought 'WOW, ok that's super cool!'
I had punched out several 'bases' for one of my little punch purses and in the process decided it was easier and faster to cut strips of cardstock to punch. I didn't realize at the time, punching several out side by side would give me a super cool goblet or wine glass! So here are the single scraps I found on the floor along with the left over section of punched cardstock!
This was punching one half of the round tab punch side by side!"

Masking Technique

Charming Stamp set from the Holiday min catalogi. Just playing with the new in-colors and this set. Love, love this set, it's just so dainty! I use Post-it notes to mask off the parts I don't want color on. I use sponge wedges to add colors to various parts of my card and then to finish it off either the Color Spritzer tool or the Itty bitty backgrounds speckle stamp!

Aged Baby Dress

The images are stamped with stazon ink and then colored on Vanilla C/S. I then sprayed the images with a walnut ink mixture. You can create a similar look with a mister bottle filled with water and drops of re-inker. I used more mustard, chocolate chip and really rust re-inkers. You can also age your ribbons by spraying with the re-inker mixture as well and then let them air dry.

Aged Baby Card

I Sponged more mustard & creamy caramel ink onto lace background paper, playing with the colors to give it an aged look. The Dress and saying was embossed on vellum so that the lace could be seen through.

Water color Crayon Ocean

This was so easy to make, I ended up making a bunch and I have one left! This card size fits in the small open end envelope. I started with shimmery C/S and stamped the birds then I used the aqua painter direct to watercolor crayons and filled in the sand, darker under each bird with Blush and Mustard and Apricot. I then filled in the ocean direct to crayon using several blues but mainly Not Quite Navy . I used Bordering Blue and a little Bashful Blue for the sky using a very light hand with a touch of plum. I colored the birds using some Gray and Sahara and then stamped the saying. The waves were easy peasy using the white gel pen to scribble in the braking tops and froth on the sand. The shells were stamped and watercolored and cut out to add with the clip. The layers are blue and mustard vellum on Sahara Sand background card. Try it!
