Birthday Wreath

I pre-colored a few of these frames to make a few cards for me and a few as gifts for my card box! I mainly used the colors listed in the new papers from the Occasions mini and SAB catalog! I really love the Enchantment SAB paper which is where this background paper is from...it matched the image colors so well!
I also cut out the new paper Doily in White CS and then cut it in forths to piece behind the frame! The frame is slightly raised on Dimensionals so that was an after thought but I like how it looks! The Doily die is nice and I love that it can be cut down to size to fit behind the different size frames!
~STAMPS: Apothecary Art.
~PAPER: Whisper White CS, Shimmery White CS, Blushing Bride CS, Everyday Enchantment DSP.
~INK: Poppy, Daffodil, Pear, Limeade, Pool Party, Stazon Black.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Labels Collection Framelits dies, Paper Doily Die, Blushing Bride Satin Pleated Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals.

Victorian Roses

This stamp set and paper remind me of so many victorian papers and clip art I've seen...and of course I love that style! I can't say that I have anything in my house even remotely close to the victorian style, maybe that's why I like it! After attaching the front to the Vanilla base card I realized I should have used a White base card to tie in the white frame but it looks fine I guess!
I have fallen in love with this stamp set Apothecary Art from the Occasions Mini! I love to watercolor and this is so nice to watercolor! I watercolored the roses first with ink from the pad lid and then went back over the roses and leaves with the fine point of the markers to give it dimension! I also watercolored around the outside of the image with a little blue to 'pop' the whole image! Too fun! The two roses on either side of the So Grateful are cut out of the background paper!
The background paper is Attic Boutique....LOVE it! The Pleated Ribbons are so nice too! I always look forward to the Occasions mini the most...there is always the most over the top stuff in it I know I'll love!
~STAMPS: Apothecary Art, Take it to Heart.
~PAPER: Vanilla CS, Shimmery White CS, Attic Boutique DSP.
~INK: Poppy, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Limeade, Pool Party, Stazon Blk.

Enchanted Heart

I'm having a ball playing with my new Occasions Mini and Sale-a-bration catalog stuff!
For this card I used Everyday Enchantment DSP from the SAB catalog with Take it to Heart stamp set, Paper Doily Sizzlits die and Fashionable Hearts Embosslits die all from the Occasions Mini!
The Hearts were sponged with Poppy Parade ink to match the watercolored flowers! I wasn't super happy with the watercolored bird but decided to use it anyway...realistic birds, I seem to have trouble watercoloring to my satisfaction! I also used the matching Enchantment ribbon in Limeade also from the SAB catalog!
~Stamps: Take it to Heart.
~Paper: Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB), Whisper White CS, Vanilla CS, Shimmery White CS.
~Ink: Stazon Black, Poppy, Daffodil, Suede, River Rock, Pear, Limeade, More Mustard, Bashful Blue, Espresso.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Paper Doily die, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits die, Fine Watercolor brush, sponge, Basic Pearls, Limeade Ribbon (SAB).

Over the years I have used Celebrate the Season so much, I love all the ornament and light pieces in this set- Perfect for creating a scene. The hook is from Ornamassortment 06' Stamp set.
The santa was stamped and colored and then punched out. I masked the santa and sponged around the circle and then dotted on smooch and glitter. I covered the circle with Versa Mark ink and embossed with clear powder twice to give it a shiny look!

Mischievous Elves

This is a beloved retired set called Santa's Elves 1997.
Every Year I make a couple of fun Christmas Cards for our Harley Owner friends! I only made two of these with the Motorcycle in them for the obvious reasons but they were so fun to make! I started out planning on just having the one elf hold his hand up like 'ta-da' on one side of the bike and the elf on the other side wrapped in lights and then add a few lights to the bike! BUT I ended up adding more and more because this set is so darn cute!

Click on the picture to enlarge
I liked the above so well that I had to make a couple of regular cards just using the Santa's Elves set! Everything was stamped with Black stazon ink on Shimmery Wt. CS and then colored with markers and I did color a few images with a fine brush and ink from the stamp pad lid. I did quite a bit of masking and most of the images had masks already stored in the set-lucky for me I saved them from last time!
Merry Christmas added from Teeny Tiny Wishes set, Motorcycle single stamp above.
Markers: All the reds, All the Greens, Suede, River Rock, Sahara, Blush Blossom, Pink Pirouette, Bliss blue (retired), Baja, So Saffron, Glitter markers, Silver and Gold Sharpies, all the Smooch accent inks, Dazzling Details, Crystal Effects.
Paper: Shimmery white CS, Garden Green CS, Metallic Red CS.

Soft Vellum Flowers

For today's card I stamped the flowers with White Craft ink on Vellum CS and Blushing Bride CS and just let them air dry-no embossing! The White Craft ink without embossing gives it such a soft look! The center Decorative Love Label was embossed with white embossing powder to make it really stand out and I love how the center oval is see-thru on the vellum! Very Simple card showing that wonderful Vellum cardstock and You are Loved stamp set! I had this card in mind for a wedding card as well!
~Stamps: You are Loved.
~Paper: Blushing Bride CS, Whisper White CS, Vellum CS.
~Ink: White Craft Ink.
~Accessories: Heat Gun, White E.P. Blushing Bride Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals.

White Vellum Wedding Roses

I love white craft ink stamped or embossed on this great SU Cardstock Vellum! The Cardstock Vellum is so rich and transparent, it's the best I've ever found! For this card I stamped the roses on vellum and embossed them with white embossing powder to use as the background. I embossed the heart the same as the background on Vellum and cut it out and attached it to Brushed Silver CS and cut out around the heart to mount on Whisper White CS with a Silver Waffle Paper Ruffle attached around it. The Vellum was attached to the silver CS heart with Mini Silver brads, while the background embossed vellum was attached to the card base with small strategically placed pieces of sticky strip so as not to show through the velllum!
All items found in the Stampin' Up! Catalog, main stamp set found in the Holiday mini!
~Stamps: You are Loved, Teeny Tiny Wishes.
~Paper: Brushed Silver CS, Whisper White CS, Silver Waffle Paper, Vellum Cardstock.
~Ink: White Craft Pad.

Floral Heart Valentine

Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving! I got all my Christmas stuff put up which makes me super happy!
However I'm done making Christmas cards so I'm on to Valentines now! This card uses You are Loved set again from the Holiday Mini! This time I used Real Red and Garden Green along with the Stripes Embossing Folder, Real Red Satin Ribbon and the small Heart Punch and Tiny Flower Punch. This is a simple card also using Shimmery White CS, Basic Rhinestones, Teeny Tiny Wishes and some Dazzling Details Glitter! The Heart I backed up to Real Red CS and free hand cut around to frame the stamped heart!

Pastel Valentine

Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I decided to post this today!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Another card made with this lovely You are Loved set available in the Holiday Mini Catalog!
I embossed half of the Pink Pirouette cardfront with the Stripes Embossing Folder then added Dazzling Details glitter to the stripes. After stamping the center flower group I punched it out with the oval punch and used a marker to add a little shading to the flowers and then sponged around the edge of the oval and added it to the frame. I love this soft look!
~Stamps: You Are Loved, Teeny Tiny Wishes.
~Paper: Pink Pirouette CS, Shimmery White CS.
~Ink: Pretty in Pink, Pear Pizzazz.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Designer Frame Folder, Dazzling Details Glitter glue, White Organza Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Sponge, Dimensionals, Oval Punch.

Cherry Roses

~Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade
~Accessories: Big Shot, Designer Frame Folder, Oval Punch, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Little Flower Punch, Basic Pearls.

Snowflake Bulb

I never do just one Christmas Card set, I make a few different cards in sets of 6 or 8! So this is another easy to mail card that uses a sticker in the center of the Snowflake instead of a rhinestone. The background was stamped using the Christmas Collage Background and even though I cleaned the stamp, there seemed to be some left over red ink on the stamp so instead of River Rock I got more like Blushing Bride color! Whoops! I added some snowflakes with Baja Breeze and embossed a few with Silver E.P. over the top then sponged Baja and River Rock inks around the snowflakes. I added a punched Ornament top to the circle which seemed to add the finishing touch. The inside of the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder was sponged with Baja ink before imbossing the frame. The circle was traced and cut out to fit in the circle that was part of the stamp.
~Stamps: Pines and Poinsettias, Christmas Lodge, Snow Swirled, Serene Snowflakes, Northern Hearts, Christmas Collage. (way to use those stamps!)
~Paper: Shimmery White CS, Baja Breeze CS, Silver Glimmer Paper.
~Ink: Baja Breeze, River Rock, Versa Mark.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Framed Tulips Folder, Snowflake Punch, Ornament Punch, Silver Embossing Powder, Sponge, Dimensionals, Crystal Effects.

Sendable Christmas Card

It's really hard to layer up a card with brads, rhinestones and pearls, ect. and still send them through the mail without extra postage. So I'm always looking for ways to improvise and still get the detail effect! Instead of brads on each side I punched out 1/4" circles from the Red Glimmer Paper and glued them on to each side. I added the main focal point flowers to the scallop circle with Dimensionals which were embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and Riding Hood Red Craft Ink. The Glimmer Papers add alot too! I also sprayed the Riding Hood Red base card with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz!
~Stamps: Pines and Poinsettias, Christmas Lodge.
~Paper: Riding Hood Red CS, Garden Green CS, Shimmery White CS, Red and Silver Glimmer Paper, Holly Berry Bouquet DSP.

Fall Wiper Card

I took these photos outside in the sun and for some reason my colors are not quite right..Oh well!
For the front of this card, each third of a section of the First Edition DSP was sponged. From left to right..River Rock, Sahara and More Mustard very lightly.
I really like these Wiper Cards, I made a few to show because this month's class featured the Wiper Card!

~Stamps: Gently Falling, Hand-Penned Holidays.
~Paper: Pool Party, More Mustard, Vanilla, First Edition DSP.
~Ink: Soft Suede, More Mustard, Pool Party, Wisteria, Pumpkin Pie, River Rock, Cajun, Sahara.

Sparkling Snowflakes

It's been a few weeks since I have posted, my computer has been acting up so hopfully I can get back on track! This card was simple to make and the picture although darker then I'd like, shows off the shimmery really well! I cut out some flowers with Silver Glimmer paper using the retired Baskets and Blooms XL die and these tear drop pieces were left over from the centers of the flowers so I utilized them on this card around the snowflakes along with punched circles!
I coated the top of the snowflake embossing folder with Baja ink and then embossed the snowflakes, I then added some Moonlight Accent ink on the centers of the snowflakes.
~Stamps: A Wish For Peace
~Paper: Base Card; Whisper White CS, Silver Glimmer Paper, Shimmery White CS.
~Ink: Baja Breeze.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, 1/4" Circle Punch, 1/8" Circle Punch, Moonlight Smooch Accent Ink, Crystal Effects.

Shaker Bird Scene

This card uses the largest Shaker Frame 1-3/4" circle along with Frostwood Lodge DSP.
I like to say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays so I omitted the Holidays from that swirly greeting and added Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes in it's place.

~Stamps: Christmas Lodge, Teeny Tiny Wishes.
~Paper: Whisper White CS, Frostwood Lodge DSP.
~Ink: Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze.
~Accessories: 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Mica Flakes, Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon, Square Fire Rhinestone Brads, Crystal Effects, Sponge.

Shaker Ornament Card

Those Shaker Frames are too fun! I decided to use a small one for the inside of the ornament, I ended up using the 1" circle punch to punch out a circle from the window sheet to place over the Shaker Frame and then punched out the ornament and used the 3/4" circle punch in the middle of that so when the ornament was placed over the hole the foam was covered and didn't show! The inside of the Shaker circle is a rose punched out of the Holly Berry DSP and a few Mica Flakes added on top! I used Silver Waffle Paper over the top of the punched ornament as well as around the frame as a mat for the main panel!

~Stamps: Christmas Lodge.
~Paper: Whisper White card base, Real Red CS, Shimmery White CS, Silver Waffle Paper, Holly Berry Bouquet DSP, Frostwood Lodge DSP.
~Ink: Old Olive Pad & Marker, Soft Suede marker, Real Red marker.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Framed Tulips Folder, Real Red Taffeta Ribbon, Shaker Frames, 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Ornament Punch, Window Sheet, Mica Flakes, Crystal Effects.

Misty Vellum Tree

Simple card using Christmas Lodge set and Framed Tulips Embossing Folder!
I stamped the tree in Sahara Sand ink on Shimmery White CS then placed mono adhesive just over the stamped tree part and adhered the CS Vellum over it. I stamped the greeting on the vellum, omitting the happy holidays and stamping A Christmas Wish from Gifts of Christmas set in it's place using Suede ink. I added a few Real Red dots around the swirls with a marker.
~Stamps: Christmas Lodge, A Christmas Wish.
~Paper: Shimmery Wt. CS, Sahara Sand CS, Vellum CS.
~Ink: Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Real Red Marker.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Neutral Glitter Brads.

Snow Flake Trees

I still think the Triple Doily Punch makes a great snowflake! I love how these Silver Glimmer paper doilies look lined up too! I stamped the tree over and over with Sahara Sand ink on Shimmery White CS and then embossed the Merry Christmas in Silver over the trees. The snowflakes are adhered over a thin strip of Brushed Silver CS along the bottom to add some depth with a Rhinestone added to each snowflake. Super Bling and Sparkle and so simple!
~Stamps: Christmas Lodge.
~Ink: Sahara Sand, Versa Mark.
~Paper: Shimmery White CS, Brushed Silver CS, Silver Glimmer Paper.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Triple Doily Punch, Heat Gun, Silver Embossing Powder, Basic Rhinestones.

Snowy Snowflake Lodge

I stamped the lodge on Shimmery CS with Sahara Sand ink and then colored it a bit with the fine point of the markers, mostly Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron.
I left the snow alone and added a bit of glitter to the windows and sponged the sky with Baja Breeze and the ground with Sahara Sand. The Snowflakes were punched out using the Doily Triple Layer Punch and the fabulous Silver Glimmer Paper....Perfect!
I love the background paper from Frostwood Lodge, the one I used looks like birch wood which I layered on Silver Glimmer Paper and then on Brushed Silver CS card base. I was going for a soft look but wanted the lodge to stand out as well as the silver glimmer paper!

This close up is not as true to color as the top picture thanks to bad pic but shows I really didn't add much in the way of color, it's such a detailed stamp, no need to!
~Stamps: Christmas Lodge.
~Paper: Brushed Silver CS, Silver Glimmer Paper, Frostwood Lodge DSP, Shimmery White CS.
~ink: Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler.
~Accessories: Triple Layer Doily Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Vanilla Velvet Ribbon, Sponge, post-it note mask.

Fall Cello Treat

I made these Swaps using the new 1" x 8" Cello Bags from the Holiday Mini which are filled with a single line of M & M's and the M & M's are fall colored too! I used just the narrow part of the  Small Tag punch at the fold to punch a slit for the top of the cello bag to fit through. The Happy Fall was printed on Brushed Gold CS from the computer!

~Stamps: Gently Falling
~Paper: Cajun Craze CS, Brushed Gold CS, Soft Suede CS, More Mustard CS, Vanilla CS.
~Ink: Soft Suede, Cajun Craze.
~Accessories: Big Shot, Designer Frame Folder, Dotted Embossing Folder, XL Oval Punch, Glitter Gold Brad, Suede Taffeta Ribbon, Cello Bags.

Flip Flap Class Card

A Flip Flap Card using Bea Chateau DSP and Established Elegance, Netting and Clearly For You stamp sets! I got the directions for this card from techniquejunkies!
I used the Oval Embossed frame as the focal point here along with the Chateau DSP and punched ribbon to tie it together!

This shows the the card flipped open and the partial inside!

This view shows the left flipped open and the right flap up to reveal the whole inside! This is a fun card to make especially using DSP paper and you can get two cards out of one sheet of CS if you use a different color CS flap on the inside! I used all Shimmery CS for this one and it was all sponged with Suede ink to give it that Shabby look! I added an embossed stamped frame to the inside for the focal point.
~Stamps: Established Elegance, Clearly for You, Tiny Tags, Netting.
~Ink: Marina Mist, Soft Suede, Pretty In Pink, More Mustard, Markers; Old Olive, Regal Rose, Soft Suede.
~Paper: Shimmery CS, Pink Pirouette CS, Soft Suede CS, Beau Chateau DSP.

Sponged Scene Sympathy Card

I made this scene sympathy card for a friend who just lost his dad. The tree is stamped on Shimmery White CS, then the scene created by sponging over and over using torn scratch paper.
I attached the panel to Brushed Gold CS and then to the card base which is a pretty metallic blue!

I added a few highlights with the White Gel Pen.
Thoughts & Prayers Stamp set.

Golden Autumn

I haven't used my Brushed Gold CS is awhile so I matched it up with River Rock CS and Well Worn DSP! They actually go very nicely together! The Greeting is stamped on Brushed Gold CS with Suede ink that was cut out using the Scallop Oval Frame die and I used just the oval cut to fit the card. I didn't want to use a circle and cover up too much of the background so the cut off oval was perfect and different! Vanilla Seam Binding ruffle attached behind the oval to match the bow. The leaves from Gently Falling stamp set were stamped on Brushed Gold CS with Cajun Craze and Soft Suede inks and cut out. Basic Pearls and Swirls cut out from the Swirls Scribbles die add details!
Also used Hand-Penned Holidays set for the greeting and Vinatge Brads.
