Beveled Window Collage

This lovely set is called Clearly For You from the new Occasions Mini Catalog! These images go so well with Nature Walk and Baby Blossoms! The base card is Blushing Bride CS the embossed frame is on Shimmery White CS. Springtime Vintage DS paper is layered on the inside of the frame. I stamped the main image on Shimmery CS with a 3/4" punched out circle from a post-it as a mask in the middle then I stamped the cherub in the blank circle and framed over the top with the Acrylic Beveled Window. Also Used: Razzleberry Taffeta ribbon, Vanilla Seam Binding as the ruffle. Basic Pearls. Inks: Razzelberry pad and marker, Soft Suede pad, Old Olive Marker. Sticky Sheet piece for the Beveled Window, Scallop Border Punch.
Happy New Year!

Love Life Nature

Last simple card for this week using the Nature Walk stamp set! My crazy 'bad' knee swelled up yet again this week and I had to have another shot in it today...boy did it hurt, but better then spending Christmas on crutches plus I need to be able to get around so I can stamp again! LOL
All the layers are stamped DS paper except the blue second layer which is just Botanical Gazette DS paper-no stamping on it! The bird and flowers are stamped on Shimmery White CS with a little sponging on the bird and a nicely placed Espresso Taffeta 1/8" bow, Jewelry Tag and a button from the Sweet Button Embosslit cut out and sponged! The love life saying is from You're a Gem set. Inks: Espresso and Marina Mist pads, Cherry and Olive markers. All the edges are sponged with Espresso ink too....quick and simple!

Nature Gem Card

Another easy, quick card made with Nature Walk Stamp set and Botanical Gazette DS paper! The background DS paper has printed on it the lovely blue scallop frame that matches the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder and the ruler at the top. I stamped the bird cage with Early Espresso ink and the lighter images and then inked up the flowers with Old Olive and Cherry markers and then stamped that inside the bird cage and sponged a small amount of So Saffron ink randomly. The small tag was punched out of another matching paper, stamped with greeting from You're a Gem set in Espresso ink and sponged around the edges then I added a Crumb Cake seam binding ruffle behind the end of the tag. Marina Mist Base Card, Espresso paper layer, Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon, Lace Trim Ruffle, Espresso and Daffodil 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones.

Nature Friend Card

Another Card using the new Nature Walk stamp set and Botanical Gazette DS paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog coming soon! And again an easy card because this paper looks so aged by itself, I just sponged around the edges with Early Espresso ink on the layers and then added a small amount of So Saffron ink to the edge of the embossed frame.
The card base is Cream Confetti CS, The frame embossed with Framed Tulip Folder using Shimmery White CS. The 'honeycomb' DS paper is stamped with the birdhouse & bee in Espresso ink. The eggs were stamped with Crumb Cake ink. The flower was inked using Old Olive and Cherry markers and stamped and then stamped again twice without re-inking to create a shadow.
I used the Pinking Hearts Border punch on another Cherry colored strip from the same wonderful DS paper and then placed it under a piece of Crumb Cake Seam binding along with a Vanilla Taffeta bow and a Antique Brad over the center. The tag is just a scrap of the DS paper stamped with 'Friend' from You're a Gem set, cut out and sponged around the edge! Very quick card!

Blossom Baby Card

Ok this is the last using this set....I think...for a little bit anyway! LOL-
For this one I again stamped the layers using the saying from Occasional Quotes as a focal point. There really isn't much to this card, fairly simple with Baja Breeze Seam Binding and three Basic Pearls across the center of the bow! ~Stamps: Baby Blossoms, Occasional Quotes. ~ Inks: Rose Red, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz and More Mustard. ~Paper: More Mustard CS, Shimmery White CS.

Springtime Vintage Bird

Just one of two more cards using this lovely new Baby Blossoms set and I suppose I should move on to another stamp set and Valentines! The bird body is stamped and the wing punched out from the paper, all sponged with Baja ink. The center of the oval label is cut out from the DS paper also!
~Stamps: Baby Blossoms, You're a Gem. ~Inks: Pear, Crumb Cake, Baja, Blushing Bride and Razzleberry, black marker. ~Paper: Baja CS, Springtime Vintage DS paper, Vanilla CS. ~Accessories: Baja Seam Binding, Sweet Button Embosslit, Lace trim, Basic Pearls, two-step bird punch, sponge.

Roses for the Queen

Gosh I really like this set, I think I like the fact that these flowers and leaves are so small and can fit in any of the punched shapes too!
For this card I cut the Springtime Vintage DS paper to fit inside the frame and then I stamped the little roses over the top of the design using Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz inks then layered it on Blushing Bride CS then to the inside frame. The frame was embossed using the Framed Tulips Folder with Shimmery Wt. CS. After stamping the center label with Crumb Cake ink and cutting it out, I sponged the edges with the same color and used Blushing Bride markeraround the edge, then attached it to two punched out Decorative Labels from the same DS paper. I stamped the little flowers around the oval then stamped Queen for a day with Espresso ink and the You're a Gem stamp set. The little Vanilla Rosette in the center was attached over two punched out hearts for leaves and the Crown stamped and cut out using Espresso ink!

I added Basic Pearls to each side. I loved how two of the Decorative Labels punched out fit perfectly behind the stamped label!

Framed Baby Blossoms

I know the Springtime Vintage DS Paper does not list Rich Razzleberry as one of the colors in this paper but it really matches nicely! The label, first layer and last layer are stamped using the Baby Blossoms set from the new Occasions Mini Catalog. The middle layer is the Springtime Vintage DS paper also found in the mini. You can begin ordering from the Occasions mini on January 4th!

Base Card Rich Razzleberry along with the Taffeta Ribbon as well. The stamped layers are on Vanilla CS using Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz inks. The label was stamped on Naturals Ivory CS and the center oval on Vanilla and cut out and placed over the top. The greeting is from You're a Gem also in the new mini!
Basic Pearls on the side flowers in the center!

Shabby Baby Roses

This card turned out just how I saw it in my head, that rarely happens! LOL -It's all stamped layers on Shimmery White cardstock. I stamped the frame in the middle first with Crumb Cake ink and then the 'Friend' from You're a Gem set with Espresso ink, then the little rose with Rose Red & Pear Pizzazz inks. The second layer was again Rose Red & Pear Pizzazz inks. The last layer was Rose Red, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze inks. All edges were sponged with Crumb Cake and to finish off the card I used Crumb Cake Seam Binding and Basic Pearls. This set called Baby Blossoms is in the new Occasions Mini Catalog and I decided to buy it in Clear, rather then wood mount. Im glad I did because these little flowers are so easy to line up when you can see right where to place them! It is a two-step stamp set and I LOVE it, each piece I ended up using and that rarely happens too!
TWO-STEP Stamping: For all the little flowers I inked up the first stamp and then stamped off on scratch paper before stamping on my cardstock then I stamped the second stamp over the top of the first one without stamping off first. This gives the flower a shaded look with light and dark layers!

Valentine Collage

Awe my New Occasion Mini Catalog stuff is here! I decided to start with this single Be My Valentine stamp....love it! So for this card I used Rose Red ink & cardstock with the new First Edition DS paper, You're a Gem stamp set, Vintage flower, Rose Red Seam Binding, Sweet Buttons Embosslit, Framed Tulip embossing folder and Springtime Vintage DS paper all new from the Occasiona Mini!

For this one I did faux stitching around the edge of the Springtime Vintage DS paper!

I just love these little Embosslit buttons! I sponged Rose Red ink over the top of the buttons to make the raised edges stand out.

Love Letter Dress Card

My third and final card using the dress pattern and the Love Letter DS paper, this is my favorite paper to use with this dress! The scrolls and medallion designs in this paper work so well in the dress! That new Pattern Pieces stamp in the Occasions Mini Catalog would look super as a background for this dress too!
~Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes. ~Paper: Confetti Cream CS, Love Letter DS paper. ~Ink: Black and Real Red Markers. ~Accessories: Real Red Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Jewelry Tag Punch, Small Heart Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch.

I loaded on the Rhinestones, this one just called for lots of bling...very formal and I'm thinking with some added hearts, you would have a lovely Valentine's Day Dress Card! I used the small heart punch for the sleeves again too!

Poinsettia Dress

Another Cinderella dress card using the dress pattern with Deck the Halls DS paper. I liked the poinsettia as an apron and the holly leaves as sleeves! Different but fun and I love playing around with the Designer Papers! ~ Paper: Artichoke CS, Deck the Halls DS paper. ~ Ink: Cherry and Artichoke markers. ~ accessories: Basic Pearls, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Dimensionals.

The holly leaves on the sleeves were cut out from the paper along with Silent Night. For the seam binding, I used mono adhesive on it and then rolled it to make it narrow for the bow. I also lined the edges with the marker to give it a finished look!
