Victorian Roses

This stamp set and paper remind me of so many victorian papers and clip art I've seen...and of course I love that style! I can't say that I have anything in my house even remotely close to the victorian style, maybe that's why I like it! After attaching the front to the Vanilla base card I realized I should have used a White base card to tie in the white frame but it looks fine I guess!
I have fallen in love with this stamp set Apothecary Art from the Occasions Mini! I love to watercolor and this is so nice to watercolor! I watercolored the roses first with ink from the pad lid and then went back over the roses and leaves with the fine point of the markers to give it dimension! I also watercolored around the outside of the image with a little blue to 'pop' the whole image! Too fun! The two roses on either side of the So Grateful are cut out of the background paper!
The background paper is Attic Boutique....LOVE it! The Pleated Ribbons are so nice too! I always look forward to the Occasions mini the most...there is always the most over the top stuff in it I know I'll love!
~STAMPS: Apothecary Art, Take it to Heart.

~INK: Poppy, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Limeade, Pool Party, Stazon Blk.
