Gold on Gold

I wanted to try a gold on gold look and decided the watercolor crayons were the best choice on the Brushed Gold C/S background and after using my Stampin' Write markers to color in the flowers, I decided to cheat and use a couple of Copic Alcohol ink markers because the dye ink kept wiping off and was not soaking in as well as I liked.
I love to paint! I love to paint anything, in fact just re-painting my walls I look forward to so this week, I want to feature some things I have painted. I have found that any surface can be painted as long as you have the correct type of paint!
I also love altered things. Altered has really no boundries, it can be altered beyond recognition or altered in some small way that may change one thing! I love that altering turns 'something' into 'something different', or in my case, something I want to match what I've already got! Check back and I'll show you a few things I've painted!

Mmmm. Very pretty, very rich looking. I really like this but I'm not sure I have the patience to do it!

Oooooo.... pretty! I love to cheat with my Copics too. Especially if I need to color people. We have no good flesh tone s!

Oh but Stampin'Up! does Lisa! The Blush Blossom Water color Crayon is the closest to flesh color I've ever found! I use it exclusively! I only used the 2 copics on the flowers because regular markers wipe off on Metallic C/S! I love getting comments! Thank YOU!

Every item you touch becomes a work of art. I so enjoy your work. Keep it coming for it brings great joy to me, and many others I'm certain.
